Finding Your Family History Online

The New York Times recently posted a very informative article on how to use the web to research family history online.

The web has opened up a world of possibilities for family histories and genealogists. Social media has helped people reunite with lost family members, find ancestors and locate documents and images that fill in their past.

If you’re interested in do-it-yourself research, you can take online genealogy webinars that will get you started.

So many tools are available now, it’s just a matter of finding the time to explore them.

Along with other personal historians, I’ve outlined some of these tools in an article on How to Create an Engaging Family History.
